The FRST organization is a community-driven workforce of private landowners and volunteers, working together for healthier Illinois forests. Their educational workshops and volunteer workdays are open to everyone interested in learning more about the identification, ecology and control of non-native invasive species. Membership is not required to participate. At FRST, they strive to educate, connect and restore. The Forest Restoration Support Team serves 11 counties in Illinois and works to provide relief to Illinois' largest group of forest stewards and private landowners.
